Broadcast Messages - Overview

With Broadcast Messages, admin and moderator users can send push notifications, emails, and in-app messages to attendees based on membership type, account status, user activity, and more. Messages can be sent immediately, or at a later date and time.

  • A push notification is a message that pops up on a mobile device. You've probably seen them on your own phone or tablet.They can be sent at any time; users don't have to be in the app or using their devices to receive them.
  • Emails are sent to the email address associated with the user's profile. 
  • In-app messages are found within your event app's Inbox, which requires login to access. Typically the Inbox is in the My Event section of your app content. 

*Note: broadcast messages cannot be recalled after they have been sent out.
